Overview
In Idencia, serialized instances of your products and other assets are referred to as 'Items'. Each Item represents an asset you will be tracking in your Idencia system.
Item types are categories of items. All items of a given item type will share that item type's properties. In many ways, your list of item types can be thought of as a product catalog. Your company can have both stock item types and custom item types defined for specific jobs.
