      How to Connect Zebra DS-3678 Scanner

      This article will teach you how to connect your scanner to your device and mobile app

      Prerequisites:

      1. Have purchased a Zebra DS-3678 HD scanner

      Android 

      Instructions

      1. For Zebra scanners, please use the app for connection assistance:

        1. Enable device Bluetooth
        2. Sign-in to the Idencia app
        3. Click ‘Scan Tag’ option on the home screen
        4. Click the ‘Connect Reader’ button
        5. Scan the four barcodes on the help article that appears
        6. Open the devices bluetooth settings forget the DS3678 scanner if it is already connected to your device
        7. Reconnect to the DS3678 scanner

       

       

      Keyboard Toggle

      ATID: 

      ATID scanners are not built for iOS and so their compatibility is a bit clunky, but still functional. 

      To toggle between scan mode for ATID and the on-screen keyboard please press the connection button in the top right of the scanner button panel to change for BT to USB mode. This will disconnect your scanner. To change back to scan mode press the button again until BT is solid. This process takes around 5 seconds. 

       

      TSL Scanners: 

      For TSL scanners simply click the scan button three times quickly to enter keyboard mode. Remember, one click is for an RFID scan and two clicks is for a barcode/QR code scan (if you have ordered a scanner with the 2D barcode reader)

       

      Zebra Scanners: 

      For Zebra scanners simply click on the scan button twice quickly to enter keyboard mode. For zebra scanners clicking once will enable you to scan a barcode or QR code. 

      Now your device and Idencia are paired with the Zebra scanner.
