What is Idencia?

Idencia OneSource in a Nutshell

Idencia serves as a comprehensive product data tracking and plant management tool, streamlining the collection, tracking, management, and analysis of data in a single platform. This transition from traditional methods to a more modernized approach enhances manufacturing processes.

Within the Idencia suite, users have access to both the Idencia OneSource Gateway and the Idencia OneSource Mobile Application. The Idencia OneSource Gateway allows for the setup of projects, item types, items properties, and processes that can be executed for each asset. These processes involve a series of questions related to the item, which are answered during various stages such as manufacturing or inventory control.

The Idencia OneSource Mobile Application is used on tablets or smartphones to carry out the configured processes from the One Source Gateway. By completing a process on the Idencia OneSource Mobile App, users can capture responses to each question, which are stored in the Idencia cloud database for future retrieval and reporting.

Different users within your organization may utilize either the Idencia OneSource Gateway, the Idencia OneSource Mobile Application, or both, depending on their specific job responsibilities.

The Idencia OneSource Gateway

The Idencia Management Portal is a web-based application that provides valuable insights into your plant's productivity and process controls. It serves as the hub for configuring processes, managing Jobs, monitoring production status, and editing Items and Item Groups.

Users can conveniently access the management portal from any computer or mobile device with internet connectivity and a web browser.

The Idencia OneSource Mobile Application

The Idencia mobile application can be easily downloaded for free from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). This user-friendly app is designed for running processes on the assets tracked within your Idencia system.

For example, a concrete pipe producer can efficiently complete QC and inventory processes on individual concrete pipes throughout the production life-cycle using the Idencia mobile application. Similarly, a heavy equipment rental company can use the app to document safety checks performed on each piece of heavy equipment before rental.
