Now that you're on a roll...

Everyone has a process they want to implement in Idencia.  Especially your QC Manager.

After seeing your Inventory process in action, she wants you to create electronic versions of each of your company's QC processes.  First up, the pre-pour inspection.  Below is a copy of the pre-pour inspection checklist your QC inspectors use.  You need to create an electronic version of this form in Idencia.

Look over the form and read through the tips, instructions, and reminders below.

Now, open the Idencia Management Portal Tutorial Site so that you can create a Pre-pour process that will replace the paper form above.

  • Keep this tab open in your Internet Browser to reference while you work.
  • If you need a refresher on how to create Item Custom Properties for your numeric, text, and date values, click here.
  • If you need a refresher on how to create a Process and the available step types, click here.

REMINDER!!

DO NOT FORGET to include Your First Name, followed by a dash (-) at the beginning of your Custom Property and Process Names.

Skip over fields and values we have not yet discussed.

When you're finished, continue with the next item in the Idencia 101 Tutorial.  The next task will let you review the Pre-Pour process you create, and walk you through adding a step to capture the Inspector's signature or initials.
