Idencia OneSource: The Precast Scrapdown Challenge Overview

Welcome to Idencia OneSource! We look forward to your involvement in this industry challenge.

A little about us

Welcome to the Idencia community! We are glad to have you. We are a quality management system dedicated to helping you reach your full potential. Whether by tracking defects, ensuring top quality for your customer, or delivering the right product at the right time we have a solution for you.

We value our people, growth, and integrity which is why we are so excited to be hosting a contest focused on all of those things.

About the challenge and participation requirements

The Precast ScrapDown Challenge is designed to help you minimize waste and regain profits.

  • How do you win? Reduce your scrap rate by having successful repairs and reduce repairs by avoiding defects. Read in-depth definitions in the contest rules here.
  • How do you participate? Use Idencia OneSource to collect defect and scrap data to help you improve your scrap rate over the course of three months. You will use Idencia OneSource Gateway (a web-based portal) to view your data and use Idencia OneSource Connect (a mobile app) to collect it in the plant. Not sure what all this means? Don't worry, we have a simple onboarding plan in place for you that will take no more than an hour to get you fully set-up to compete.
  • Who should be involved? As many people as you would like! We recommend involving your QC manager, Repair engineers, and scrap teams. Your QC Manager or Production Manager (or another similar role) should be placed in charge of ensuring workers are entering data and that your company is continuing to improve.
